Movies
Nothing... and that's what bums me out most. 2013 was the year I finally fell out of love with going to the movies. Sure, there were some fun movies like The Wolf of Wallstreet, The World's End... and others. Look, I honestly can't remember anything else I saw this past year. I know the critics are going on and on about all of the films that are making the awards circuit rounds right now but I couldn't care less. I'll probably see Her eventually. I'll probably like it, Being John Malkovich and Adaptation were both pretty great, Where the Wild Things Are wasn't (2 out of 3 ain't bad). But as a whole I'm kinda done with new movies for the time being.
I've got a ton of old movies that I've been meaning to dive into for awhile now and have been having a great time doing so lately. I may start a backlog feature on the site, depends on how much time I have to spare. I am planning on making more frequent updates, attending more shows and providing more coverage so you'll have that to look forward to. I'm also planning on doing a proper re-design and moving the site off blogger and onto a proper server that I pay for fairly soon so that should be fun.
So there you have it, that's what I liked about 2013. Let me know if you felt I missed anything in the comments below and I might actually read it. Better still, just send me a tweet @joe1138.
