Fandom Fest 2014 was held in Louisville, KY this past weekend. The show was surrounded by a bit of controversy as several disgruntled fans who attended last year's show made their criticisms about the event's lack of coordination known, prompting the event's owner to respond publicly and vow to make this year's event better.Since I wasn't at last year's show I have no way of knowing whether or not the promoters' made good on their promise but I will say the event was noticeably under-attended, with the lines for the celebrity guests who attended being incredibly short. Whether or not this was a result of the bad press from last year's show I'll likely never know but those fans who attended seemed to enjoy themselves with many saying this was their first convention.
