The Week(end) In Stuff: "Honey Do" List

September has come and gone (somehow) and we are now in the throws of yet another Rocktober. Here's what we're looking forward to this weekend.

10/3 - Telepathe (one of my favs) stops by Los Globos on Sunset for what's sure to be a great set. Lincoln Jesser, Heiress to Atlas and Cuscino to provide support. Doors are at 7:00pm, be there ('cause I will).

10/3 - The War on Drugs wraps up their three night run in the southland on Friday night at the Fonda. Cass McCombs to open.

10/4 - Portland, OR's Greylag stops by San Diego's Casbah for a night of rustic rock on Saturday night.

10/4 - Direct from Brooklyn, Beverly brings their brand of rock/pop to the Smell. You may not have heard of them yet but there's a good chance you will soon. Check out the video for "Honey Do."

Speaking of all things Beverly, what's up with Tarantino taking over the programming reigns at his beloved New Beverly Cinema? Hopefully QT's influence (and legendary film collection) will help to ensure 35mm's survival for a little while longer.
