Greylag at the Casbah - 10.4.14

DSC_0228.jpgDirect from Portland, Oregon, Greylag stopped by the Casbah in San Diego on Saturday night opening up for The Whigs with a set of authentic rock with a country edge.

As pleasant a sound as Greylag creates in the studio, the band really fires on all cylinders live. The boys brought the house down with a tight and rollicking performance, closing out their time on the Casbah stage with a little something they referred to as a lullaby. They know how to work a room and fill it with some blistering tunes and are definitely a band to watch.

Greylag is currently supporting The Whigs on some west coast dates with stops in San Francisco, Portland and Seattle, just in time for the band's debut long player which drops on 10/14 via Dead Oceans. For more info, be sure to check out Greylag on Facebook and follow @GreylagMusic on Twitter.
